Faux Shutter:
The Faux shutter is made of Medium-density fiberboard (MDF). The acrylic coating has UV inhibitors to protect against intense sun exposure. Heavier than wood, this shutter has limitations with tall and wide openings. Spacers are required on most panel tops and bottoms applications.

Poly Shutter:
Moisture resistance of this solid resin shutter makes it a good choice for those windows over the sink, bathtub or inside the shower. Similar in appearance to basswood shutters with the low maintenance features of poly construction. The recommended shutter for water prone environments. The synthetic vinyl look will satisfy most customers. Spacers are required on panel tops and bottoms on most applications.
